In this ebook I outline Thirty ways to get more people coming to your pages. Many of the suggested methods and communities that you can do this through are totally free.

Here are a few of the topics in the ebook about traffic building

Getting More Visitors Through Search Engine Optimization
This process called search engine optimization is something that you should be well educated about before you begin building your website. SEO (search engine optimization) is the process of implementing certain techniques on your websites pages and off of your websites pages to make your site more appealing to Google, Yahoo and MSN.

Participating In Forums
There are many different forums on the Internet and the chances are probably pretty good that there is one that is related to your websites niche. Once you join a forum, inside your profile section, there is always a “signature” section. This is where you can create what is called an anchor link. Generally you enter the text that you want to link to your website and then highlight the text.

Many people when they start building a Homestead website don’t know a thing about getting traffic to come to their pages. This is the main reason that I developed this free ebook on website traffic. I had to discover all of these various methods for increasing the amount of visitors through studying the Internet.

Comment On Blogs
Any blog that is a good blog these days will have an easy way for you to enter your name and web page address. The system will automatically make your name a clickable link leading to the web address that you entered.

Yahoo Answers
This is a great way to generate traffic to your site for several reasons. When you make a post (or, “ask a question”), on their system, it generally ends up on the first page of Googles search results for the keywords that you had in the question.

Start Your Own Free Blog or Two
Wordpress and Blogger both have free blogs that you can start. The process is very simple. If you create blogs that are related to your website, you can then make anchor text links that point to your main website.

Have You Heard of Craigslist?
Here is another great method of attracting visitors to your websites pages. Craigslist is a huge Internet advertising site.

Develop A Newsletter or Email List
This is one of my most valuable traffic generators that I have, using the Homestead Newsletter feature. When I started a particular website several years ago I began to write, what I call, “daily devotions.” I started doing a lot of the things that I have mentioned already in this free ebook to promote the free devotions.

Those are just a few of the excerpts from the ebook about ways to get more traffic and increase the amount of visitors that are coming to your homestead website. In the Internet age that we are in there is something that is called social media networking. This is done through becoming a member of some of the many free online sites such as blogs and forums. Facebook, Twitter, Myspace and Digg are all great ways to promote your pages and enjoy an increase in getting more traffic.

Our free Homestead/Intuit website SEO ebook covers a multitude of topics for you to begin to lay your foundational building blocks on. Before you build your website design, it’s very important that you learn detailed information about search engine optimization. Learning the proper techniques of how to optimize your SiteBuilder pages is vitally important to the success of your site.

Here are a few of the topics with brief descriptions.

Homestead SEO Book Intoduction
Here’s a simple truth, if you want to get good placements with the search engines you will have to learn SEO. Homestead website optimization techniques differ from other website building programs, but the basics of optimizing your pages are the same. After studying this subject intensely, of how to optimize a SiteBuilder page to be appealing to Google, Yahoo and Bing, more of my website pages were indexed and many of them made it to the top.

How Competitive is Your Niche?
The competition that is in your niche is going to initially determine how well you place in the results pages when someone does a search using your keywords. If you type a few of your keyword phrases into Googles search box and it returns two pages worth of websites focusing on the same words, then you’re going to have to really work at getting to the top.

What is SEO
SEO is process of selecting specific keyword phrases related to a site, and ensuring that the site places well when those keyword phrases are part of a Web search. It is all about positioning your website’s rank higher in the SERPS (or, “search engine results pages). Many books have been written on the subject and Internet sites are dedicated to providing information about it. It’s a lucrative niche that many marketers focus on. If you can get more visitors to your website, then you achieve a greater amount of success with your vision. With so many people interested in Internet marketing as a way of making money, SEO is big business.

Search Engine Spiders-An important subject for laying foundational Intuit/Homestead SEO building blocks.
Understanding the job of the search engine spiders and how they read data on a site is the technical end of search engine optimization. You don’t need to understand all of the aspects of how they work, but a basic knowledge is helpful.

Spiders have been developed to read site content like you and I read. Starting in the top left hand corner, they will read the text lines from left to right. When it finds a link it can follow, it will record that link and command another bot to investigate the copy and collect information found on the document the link leads to. The spiders will continue moving through the website and the Internet until it has collected all the data it is programmed to record to accurately place your pages in the SERPS.

What is a Sitemap
The term “sitemap” is basically self explanatory. If you think about what you would view by looking at a road map, the same principle of interconnected pathways applies to a website’s sitemap. Your websites “roads” are the links that connect everything together.

Writing Optimized Content-This is the most important chapter in the eBook about SEO for Homestead website users.
A website that has acceptable SEO will have plenty of content. Not just any kind of mish mush though, it must be rich keyword focused content. It also must be methodically arranged in such a way that the search engines will give you favor in the SRERPS. The way that Google, Yahoo and MSN determine what your pages and website are all about is through the inter-connectivity of content. There are certain things that the spiders and bots are programmed to look for in order for your pages to get top rankings.

Becoming an Authority
There are so many factors that affect whether or not Google, Yahoo or MSN like your website. If you can achieve an authority status, then your rankings will be moved up in the SERPS. Search engine evaluations work a lot like business’s or churches, you don’t get promoted to a higher level in service until you have proven your expertise, honesty, originality, and character to be genuine and high quality. If your presence in the Internet world brings adds things of quality, then you will eventually establish a good reputation.

Understanding Page Rank-This portion of the eBook on SEO for your Homestead website is a must to understand for optimizing SiteBuilder pages to meet long term goals.
Page rank is the value that Google places on a website’s page. The Google tool bar can be downloaded and the page rank feature can be activated. The meter works from zero to ten, with ten being the best rank that you can get.

This free SEO book for SiteBuilder users will get the foundation set for you to start building your Internet business upon.
